The Whole Planet Spirituality Retreat is hosted by The Spiritual Forum and Compassion Consortium. We will have creative activities designed to support and encourage your curiosity about whole planet spirituality.įor those unable to travel this year, we are offering a virtual attendance option. If you are an omnivore attending this retreat for the first time, we believe you will greatly enjoy the plethora of plant-based food options in the meal plan and the loving reception of everyone in attendance. Whether you are vegan, omnivore or vegetarian, you are welcome. We travel the Road to Eden when we seek to restore balance within ourselves and take up the mantle as sacred caretakers to ensure all life forms live peacefully and thrive together. Whether you consider the story to be historical or metaphysical, we can hold Eden up as the ideal for how we want to live - what we want to strive for. Perhaps it illustrates humanity’s move from oneness to a more sensory level of consciousness, and we now find ourselves in a world where violence is normalized. The story reminds us that perhaps our ancestors left a more advanced state and we now find ourselves disconnected from the harmony and connection we originally had with all creation, including ourselves. It is a state of consciousness, but it is also a place in the creation story that describes a world of wholeness, non-violence and harmony. Eden is a place that calls to the deepest parts of us. Participate in the awakening of consciousness in the heart of our nation. Experience the sacredness of the Unity Village grounds, home of the Unity movement where co-founders Charles and Myrtle Fillmore pioneered and advocated for ethical vegetarianism in the early 1900’s. Enjoy three days (Friday evening dinner/orientation through Monday lunch) of inspiration, learning, renewal and collaboration as we co-create a world that works for all beings on the planet. Calling all people committed to Whole Planet Spirituality.
